The resort built on a hillside is, according to its Website inspired by its unspoiled natural surroundings and the accommodation is 49 thatched villas, minimalist in style with pure natural furnishings. Its location assured it of no damage from the tsunami. Rates run from 3,000 Baht to 5,100 Baht per night plus the cost of transfers. We did see an Internet special for less than 12,000 Baht for three days, two nights, which said for Thai residents only. We saw this at another hotel and when we called to see if we qualified we were told that since were in Thailand we did. The special here included cottage accommodation, American breakfast, a set dinner for two at the resort’s Surya Chandra restaurant, one-hour spa treatment, and use of a kayak and a choice of an excursion by speedboat or ferry. The package also included transfers from Krabi airport as well as the usual welcome drink and fruit basket and Sri Lanta souvenir.
